Programme areas
Our integrated programme areas advance climate resilience, transform food systems through agroecology, protect natural resources and promote equitable climate and development finance.
Climate Education
We equip women, children and young people with the knowledge and skills to understand climate change, respond to local climate risks, and lead practical solutions in their communities. Our goal is to increase Ghana's climate literacy rate from 22% to 70%.
Key Objectives:
- Increase climate literacy among women, children and youth
- Build capacity and skills needed for climate adaptation and resilience
- Empower communities to lead locally driven climate action
- Promote informed decision-making on climate risks and sustainable solutions
Sustainable Agriculture
Equipping women farmers with agroecological knowledge and skills to transform local food systems by restoring soil health, reducing reliance on harmful chemicals, and strengthening climate resilience.
Key Objectives:
- Improve women's access to agricultural land and productive resources
- Promote agroecology and sustainable farming practices
- Restore soil health with organic composting
- Improve food security, nutrition and sustainable livelihoods
Natural Resources Management
Advancing women and youth leadership in forest conservation, mangrove restoration, clean energy solutions that reduce pressure on ecosystems, and meaningful participation in natural resource governance.

- Promote women and youth leadership in forest conservation
- Restore mangroves and protect ecosystems
- Advance clean energy solutions
- Include women and youth in natural resource governance
- Promote a just and inclusive transition
Climate and Development Finance Advocacy
Advocating for gender-responsive climate and development finance that prioritizes women, vulnerable groups and local communities. We promote debt justice, gender justice, accountability and community-centred development.

- Advocate for gender-responsive and equitable climate finance
- Promote accountability in development finance projects
- Build community capacity on finance mechanisms
- Advance debt justice and gender justice
- Strengthen inclusive participation in financial decision-making
- Amplify community voices in global climate and development finance frameworks
